Volleyball

Our philosophy is simple. Volleyball is a silly game. What we means is that volleyball is a game and games are meant to be played and play means that it should be fun. Years from now, nobody will care how well a player can jump, serve, dig, set and block. What will be true, is that years from now, players will remember the satisfaction of learning new skills, the challenge and the warmth of hearing the cheers from making a great play and sheer fun of that particular squeal and laughter unique only to girls.

Team Hillside Volleyball:

• The sign ups start in July.
• The league is for girls in the 5th through 8th grades.
• The season runs September through November.
• There is special skills coaching from local high school coaches!

Club Volleyball

UPWARD BOUND SPORTS is in its sixth year of offering club volleyball, a travel sport, through Team Hillside. Team Hillside has enjoyed great success and continues to place its teams in the upper divisions of local tournaments.

• We are currently featuring 6 teams.
• The Club volleyball season runs from December through the end of June.
• There are mandatory tryouts in October.
