We believe the church should be culturally relevant, while remaining doctrinally pure. Our goal is to be timely and topical...yet remain biblically distinctive. Here are some important answers for those who are spiritually gifted and interested in the arts at Hillside.

Worship Team - Band: This group of musicians is divided into smaller bands that play for our worship services. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday nights, and auditions are required.

Worship Team - Vocal: These vocalists are part of the team that leads worship each weekend. Several teams rotate during each month. Rehearsals are held on Wednesday nights, and auditions are held periodically throughout the year.

Drama Ministry: Hillside's drama ministry, called Front Row Centered, enhances the weekly worship services through the presentation of sketches. Actors involved in the Sunday worship service usually meet for rehearsal on the preceding Friday evening.

Production Team: The production team, affectionately known as the 'Techies', work behind the scenes to enhance Hillside's worship. Production team members are selected through an application and interview process.

• Sound and lighting technicians combine technical ability with artistry to set an environment for personal and corporate worship.
• Graphics offer visual reinforcement of worship themes. Graphic artists design slide presentations and computer technicians operate the programs during worship.
• The Stage Crew works quietly and efficiently, setting and re-setting the stage to allow for a variety of worship elements.
